A book which I will personally recommend to all the keen readers out there, the book ‘The Tenth Riddle’ - the story mainly revolves around Princess of Goner. It's a short read that will take you on the tour of an imaginative and suspenseful story.

The author has the capability of forming real characters and the whole story can help you make a fresh perspective towards sacred feminism of Hindu mythology.

Carrying the dark shadows of their past, the challenges and hurdles their love faced one after another with whole courage leaves a great impression in my mind and it was full of emotions on another side. The story teaches us that trust is the building block for Love or any relation between two people to create a strong and unbreakable bond. Here comes another amazing book by Mainak Dhar. A book which I will personally recommend to all the keen readers out there, The book ‘Brand New Start’.

Brand New Start is a book which lives up to it’s name literally and the book delivers all the expectations I had as a reader.

It has tips for people from all ranges. The book sees age as no bar when it comes to getting what one wants from his/her career.

It is not just a self help book to get one through tough times but it also provides answers and let people know why what its offering is important and integral to their lives. I personally as a reader also learnt a lot. The small insights the book has into the corporate world is what i think made this book stand out in it’s league.

The book personally also helped me understand the concept of personal branding and helped me in several ways as someone who promotes his/her content on instagram. It made me realise the importance of having my own identity and not just associating myself with any brand on this platform. It provides way outs and deals with not just the most common but also intricate topics very delicately and let its readers decide what is the perfect fit for them.

The mass murders happening one after another leaves a great mystery in my mind. The story mainly revolves around SHO Syna, and detective Akash.  Q1) What kept on inspiring you to write Shiva Origins: The Son of Ganga?

A: The greatness of our Ancient Indian Legacy and the hidden secrets within Yogic teachings were the 2 main inspirations that kept me focussed to complete this novel.

Q2) Can you describe briefly about this book?

A: Shiva Origins is an attempt to combine Indian mythology and yogic knowledge in an adventurous way. The book contains some rare and forbidden secrets of Yoga in addition to a revolutionary mythological twist. There are multiple engaging plot lines that will run parallel with the ultimate aim to reveal the origins of Lord Shiva.

Q3) Are you planning it to be turned into a sequel anytime?

A: It’s already a duology. You have the Shiva Origins and Shiva Origins 2.

Q4) What did you learn while writing this?

A: ‘Known is a drop, unknown is an ocean.’

Q5) What surprised you the most throughout the journey?

A: To be honest, the novel’s flow shifted away from my control at one point. What I intended to write and what I ended up writing are two different things. I felt a great divine force guiding me while writing Shiva Origins. Thus, it was with the blessings of the divine force, that I am able to complete this story. And it was very surprising because I never imagined such things to happen when I started to write Shiva Origins.

Q6) Can you briefly explain about the title's origination and meaning?

A: Shiva Origins is the series name. The duology will ultimately reveal the theoretical origins of Lord Shiva which goes beyond the knowledge of Vedas. The series will portray the life history of Lord Shiva and the legacy he left behind for mankind and thus it was named as Shiva Origins. And the first part is named as ‘The Son of Ganga’ because of some special reason which I can’t reveal now. But one thing I can say is that, The son of Ganga meant in the title is not referring to Lord Shiva.

Q7) Did you find yourself more or less sympathetic towards the subject you wrote?

A: Yes. I wanted to be neutral but somehow, I felt that I was not able to do so.

Q8) What happened behind the scenes while writing Shiva Origins?

A: A lot of thing happened. There were in depth brainstorming sessions with my team throughout the story creation, multiple rounds of editing sessions with my editors, about 20 test read sessions with beta readers for their opinions and a detailed novel cover creation session with Arthat Studio to create one of the best novel covers in Indian book publishing history.

Q9) Were characters inspired by real story as the subject is mythological?

A: Not really. The characters are based on fictional imagination.

Q10) What do you think happened to the characters after the book ended?

A: The main characters are still living inside my mind.

Q11) Are you planning to pick some different genre (off-track), which you never worked on?

A: Yes. I have a good romantic story in my mind and would like to write it in near future.

Hers comes another trilogy by Kevin Missal who wrote his first book at fourteen. At twenty-two, graduated from St. Stephen's he became a fulltime writer and the bestselling author of the Kalki trilogy and Narasimha, the first book in the Mahaavatar trilogy.

A story which I will recommend to all the readers out there, The book ‘Hiranyakashyap’ - which highlights the story of Hiranyakashyap, Prahlad , Holika & many more hidden characters whom I never knew had any existence. Each character had a major role with very interesting interlinked story of their own, the only reason which kept me bounded to find always what happened next. Mythology interests me alot & so is this one. The story takes turn when Narsimha in search of Prahlad gets in touch with people from his past which give story a different twist, read to find what exactly happened. Holika on other side was unable to make decisions in rage for her nephew & was into finding & pondering over his history. The question pondering me was how & when will Narsimha & Prahlad meet to accomplish what destiny has already chosen for them?? Read this amazing trilogy to find crisp turning points & drop in comments what you felt?

 Q1) What kept on inspiring to write books?

The inspiration to write comes from within and it is difficult to pin-point it.


Q2) Can you describe briefly about each book you have wrote till date?

I have published 6 Literary books, titled: Pentacles; Frosted Glass; Abyss; Winter Poems; Random Subterranean Mosaic: 2012 – 2018, and Etchings of the First Quarter of 2020; and 1 Technical book, titled: Articles on Ductile Iron Pipelines and Framework Agreement Methodology.

Pentacles comprises one novella and four long narrative poems.

Frosted Glass comprises one story cycle consisting of 14 stories and one poem cycle consisting of 21 poems.

Abyss is a full length play in two acts with an interval in between. It is essentially a crime thriller full of suspense.

The poems contained in the collection Winter Poems, were inspired by the relatively mild season that prevails in Kolkata following the season of festivities, the Durga and Kali Puja, and portray myriad shades of human life.

Random Subterranean Mosaic 2012 - 2018 is a kaleidoscope of random, yet structured to a pattern, fiction, semi-autobiographical, and autobiographical pieces, covering poems, short-shorts, opinions, observations, and conversations.

Etchings of the First Quarter of 2020 comprises a novella and a poem cycle. The novella deals with dualism of life and the poem cycle is a duel between the poet and his alter-ego.


Q3) What was the struggle behind reaching best seller tag?

You keep on doing what you are best at doing, that is, writing. Laurels come when they have to come.

Q4) What did you learn while writing these books?

That it is possible to reconnect with your own life through the process of writing.

Q5) What suprised you the most throughout the journey?

That many mysteries and secrets of my own life were unearthed in the process of my writing journey.

Q6) Can you briefly explain about each title's origination and meaning?

People who read my books will be able to resonate with the title of my books. And, people who have not read my books, for them I do not want to end up giving spoilers.

I am dispassionate towards characters and subjects that I write about.

Sahil being careless & carefree on one side gets attracted towards Arya for being shy, sensitive and introvert, P.S.- we all know opposites attract. A story which I will recommend to all the readers out there, The book ‘Destiny Played It Well’ - which highlights the importance of passionate & challenging goals of Love & the play games of destiny to unite two pure souls which were far away from each other. Love is what all seek, and for Navya, Kabeer was his healer, and for Kabeer it was love at first sight. They both only need to realize the magic love possesses. Will destiny also play it's role to unite them? Will destiny actually change her opportunity to get Internship at England & decreasing over-sea distances between Kabeer & Navya into a turning point to her miserable life she was living earlier in India? Was destiny actually pre-planning something for both of them? Read this amazing story to find crisp turning points & drop in comments what you felt? The way this story is penned down is 100% relatable with each beautifully penned down word. What a page-turner this is!!

Wonderful book. While reading the book you start living it & the book gives you very much Bollywood feel. I wont be surprised if this book (entire series) gets turned into a movie or web-series.

Language used is simple & easy to understand. Writing style of the author is good. Overall, I enjoyed reading it. This is a must read for all readers out there...

Hey, first of all hello 🙋 all the lovely readers out there, here is a genuine review I want to share with you all.

This was wonderful mind 💭 relaxing read for me. It had great impact over me & I could feel the actual vibes. The cover is beautiful. It is unique, eye catchy & attractive enough to get picked up. The book is a light read with length of about 30 pages which can be easily finished in no time. I read it one go & I feel so mesmerized by it. I just loved it.

As the title is "7 Vows of Marriage", the novel is full with Insights of how can a marital relationship works successfully. I totally agree with author that one does not lose his/her individuality after getting into any relation or after getting married. Every relation starts with friendship & lack of friendship can loosen the same.

I could feel every inch of every single penned down story & stages every couple passes through, though you won't understand the title until you read the whole of it. What a page-turner 📖 it is!!

I found this as the another best one in 2020. After reading all of it I am feeling hungover. So many thoughts & feelings are raging within me. I must say that the author has penned 📝 such a powerful stories that I am speechless.

All aspects are wonderfully covered.
The quality of the work is mind-blowing 💭 & commendable.

Wonderful book. While reading the book I started living it. This is a must read for all readers.

Q1) What make you inspire to write?

A: My sister inspired me to write, during early days my sister had given me a parentally advice to write daily activities and thoughts in diary. Slowly this became my habit and gradually I started writing short stories. My recent book is also about 13 such short story, some of the stories in the book are written by me when i was in 8th standard.

Q2) Why you chosen Hindi to express your thoughts for the book Meri Aarzoo?

A: Hindi being my mother tongue and now days there are very few writers who choose to express their thoughts in Hindi language. This is also another way to show my tribute to all the existing Hindi writer and Inspire youth to come forward and write in Hindi Language. The Hindi language used in my book is very simple which we usually speak in our daily routine at home. Without thinking much about grammatical mistakes or difficult Hindi words.

Q3) Which writer do you look up as your ideal?

A: Munishi Premchand is one of my favourite, I also enjoy reading novels by Ramanad Sagar.

Q4) What’s your favorite genre?

A: Suspense, thriller, romance and mythology

Q5) How many drafts you actually had for Meri Arzoo?

A: It was around 4-5 drafts before going for the final copy.

Q6) What was the main inspiration behind Meri Aarzoo?

A: Most of the people in world compromise in some or the other way, the book also speaks on same ground where the person even after compromising keep his aspiration alive and achieve success.

Q7) How has pandemic situation affected you work schedule?

A: Pandemic situation has definitely lead to lot of financial loss, but on contrary it has also become a opportunity for lot of people who used to complaint of lack of time to show creativity and skills in respective area. I too have utilized this opportunity and started my own Blog.

Q8) What suggestions you want drop for aspiring and budding writers?

A: Listen to own voice and be honest while writing with free mind which would lead to flow of thoughts and emotions.

Q9) Was getting published your book an easy task?

A: Honestly speaking it wasn’t an easy task, it took me lot of time and energy to ensure the book come out as a master piece in itself because it was also my first book. Hence didn’t want to take any chances and give public a memorable experience.

Q10) Who do you rely upon for great and better editing suggestions?

A: As this was my first book therefore I took editing suggestion from my family & friends who also motivated me to write. My future books I shall definitely seek advices from renowned editors.

Q11) What is that one motivational message you will spread across for your reader audience?

A: If I have say in my language then “Insaan parsthithio ka Ghulam hota hai, Paristhithiya ya toh khud ban jati hai ya kisi ke dwara banayi jati hai, jo insaan ke hatho mai nahi hota, Lekin un paristhithio se ladna unke hatho mai hota hai, toh use dare nahi apne vivek ka istemal kar sangarsh jari rakhe”

This was wonderful mind 💭 relaxing read for me. It had several short stories which had great impact over me and it was easy for me to co-relate them while reading since I have my friends having legal profession as their background and I could feel the actual vibes directly from Sia's real-life events to my thought process.

As the title is "Legally Yours", the book had some unusual life events and few dramas of court room 📖 in form of short stories full of emotions having great impact in Sia's life.

I could feel every inch of every single penned down story, though you won't understand the title until you read the whole of it. What a page-turner 📖 it is!! I found this as the best one in 2020. After reading all the stories I am feeling hungover. So many thoughts and feelings are raging within me. I must say that the author has penned 📝 so much a powerful stories that I am speechless. Characters are well developed.

All aspects are wonderfully covered and it is a thrilling ride from start to end. Read to find the crisp turning points of each story. The quality of the work is mind-blowing 💭 & commendable.
